ピレリF1が、シルバーストンで2019年用プロトタイプタイヤのテストを2日間にわたって行った。

　今回のテストにはレッドブル、ウイリアムズ、ハースが参加した。初日10日にはレッドブルからはセバスチャン・ブエミ、ウイリアムズからはロバート・クビカ、ハースからはロマン・グロージャンがプロトタイプのスリックタイヤで走行を行った。1日目には3チームが合計252周を走り、大量のデータを集めた。

　2日目11日にはクビカ、グロージャンは引き続き走行、レッドブルからはマックス・フェルスタッペンが参加し、スリックタイヤで走った。この日は合計257周の走行が行われた。

　次回テストは9月にポール・リカールで行われ、マクラーレンがウエットタイヤでの走行を担当する予定となっている。
